We have been housesitting both casually and full time here in Australia and overseas since 2013. In 2016 we made the decision to pet/housesit full time and did so up until Covid hit in March 2020. We are now back to sitting casually with hoping to return to full time in the not-so-distant future. We both hold European and Australian Citizenship. To date we have completed 116 pet/housesits.
Our home is a 3-bedroom apartment on the Redcliffe Peninsula, in Queensland, Australia which allows us to lock and go! It is approximately 40 minutes outside of Brisbane City Centre. Here we enjoy a very relaxed lifestyle by the sea. With both taking early retirement we felt that it was an ideal time to satisfy our love of travelling and house sitting allows us to do this.
